We printed our first edition in 2009 and have received numerous positive comments from long time residents, newcomers, visitors and businesses.  One of the great advantages of living in Antrim and Bennington is the range of outdoor activities available to us.

Once again we had many volunteers who allocated many hours of their time to provide quality content for the Outdoor Guide.  Virginia Dickinson was able to create and update the maps she had done in 2009.  Great Brook School provided art work to replace clip art that was used previously.

We would like to give special thanks all of the sponsors who purchased ads to allow us to print over 8,000 copies of the guide. We have also updated the Internet version of the Outdoor Guide at www.ablions.org/. If you would like a PDF version of the OUtdoor Guide then you can get the cover and the main text also.

We appreciate the support from the local community over the years with our major fundraisers—Home and Harvest BBQ at Tenney Farm and selling XMAS trees.  These funds allow us to provide assistance to the community for sight and hearing needs, families that may need a little help and youth programs.

We are always looking for additional members who can help expand what we are able to do for the community.  Please contact us if you are interested in becoming a member of our Lions Club.

Our cover photo was called Loon at Franklin Pierce Lake, courtesy of Frank Malinoski, the Lions Club 2012 Photography contest winner.
